Fortress of Justinian or simply known as Tirana Castle is a castle in Tirana, Albania. Its history dates back before 1300 and is a remnant from the Byzantine-era. The fortress is the place where the main east–west and north–south roads crossed, and formed the heart of Tirana. The current fortification has three known towers and it is undergoing a process of restoration, for touristic purposes. Inside the fortified walls of the former fortress, there are many buildings that can be visited, including restaurants, hotels, and cultural institutions.

2. The Unknown Soldier

The Unknown Soldier is a war memorial statue in Tirana for the soldiers that fell in the struggle against the Italian invaders during Second World War. The statue is located near the Albanian parliament and the Tomb of Kapllan Pasha. It was placed by the Albanian communists: For its construction, the 350-year old Sulejman Pasha Mosque built by the founder of the capital Sulejman Bargjini was destroyed. The sculpture features a soldier with a raised fist and rifle, struggling forward.

4. Clock Tower

The Clock Tower of Tirana, was built in 1822 in Tirana, Albania by Et'hem bey Mollaj, a Bejtexhinj poet who also finished the Et'hem Bey Mosque next to the clock tower. Watchmaster Ismail Tufina was the first to assemble the Tirana clock mechanism in 1822. It is a monument of culture of first category, approved on 24 May 1948.

5. Pyramid of Tirana

The Pyramid of Tirana is a structure and former museum located in Tirana, the capital of Albania. It opened as a museum in 1988 and became a conference center in 1991 following the collapse of Communism. During the 1999 Kosovo War, the building was used as a NATO base. In 2018, a new project was unveiled that would turn the pyramid into a youth IT center for Creative Technologies with a focus on computer programming, robotics, and start ups under the name of TUMO Center Tirana. The renovated structure, transformed by MVRDV, was opened to the public in May 2023.

6. Bunk'Art

A bunker with 5 floors under the earth was built between 1972 and 1978, with 106 and from an Assembly hall, where objects used by former communist leaders in the 76'-80's are exhibited, located in the area known as Shish Tufina, in Tirana. The supreme commander of the armed forces in the bunker-building era (1972-1978) was Enver Hoxha. In the era of bunker building, prime minister was Mehmet Shehu, who, in the capacity of minister of defence and the inspiration of the plan for the bunkerization of Albania, had cherified the entire construction of the structure. The 2014 anti-nuclear bunker has been turned into a museum and is called Bunk'Art.

It declared its autocephaly in 1922 through its Congress of 1922, and gained recognition from the Patriarch of Constantinople in 1937.

In March 2020, the National Theatre of Albania was selected by Europa Nostra among the 7 most endangered monuments in Europe, as an exceptional example of modern Italian architecture from the 1930s and one of the most prominent cultural centers in Albania, facing impending threat of demolition. On 17 May 2020, the National Theatre building was demolished.

9. Tirana Zoo

Zoopark Tirana is a public zoo located in Tirana, Albania. It is the only zoo of its kind in the country. Built during 1960–1961, the zoo is concentrated in an area of 6.09 ha in the southern part of the city, between the Grand Park and the Botanical Gardens.

It is located on Dhimitër Kamarda Street at the eastern edge of Tirana, the capital of Albania. It serves as the centre of the Albanian Bektashi Order. The site is proposed to form the territory of the Sovereign State of the Bektashi Order.

12. Dajti Castle

Dajti Castle is a 1.12 hectares archaeological site in Albania, comprising the ruins of a Roman fortification and several dwellings. It belongs to late antiquity, probably having been built over Illyrian foundations. It lies at 1,200 metres (3,900 ft) altitude on top of a hill, west-side of Mount Dajti, close to Tirana. It was discovered in 1963 and eventually was inscribed in the list of the Cultural Monuments of Albania. In 2008 a three-year restoration project began, aiming to conduct further archaeological searching and surveys and to improve the nearby infrastructure for visitors and tourists.

13. Tyrbe of Kapllan Pasha

The Kapllan Pasha Tomb is a Muslim Türbe built in 1817 in the center of Tirana, Albania. The government of Albania declared it a Cultural Monument of the first category in 1948. Its 8 columns are made of carved stone, placed on an octagonal-shaped stone base, and capped with octagonal shape capitals. The former Ottoman ruler of Tirana was interned here in the 19th century, but his remains were later repatriated to Istanbul, Turkey.

The Tanners' Mosque is a historic mosque located near the Tanners' Bridge in Tirana, capital of Albania. Built in the neighborhood of the handicraft-trade Tanners' guild around the seventeenth century in the Ottoman Empire, it was damaged by a lightning shot but continues to function thanks to improvements made by the family Resmja which even today continues to care for.

18. National Theatre for Children

19. House of painter Sali Shijaku

The house of painter Sali Shijaku is located in Tirana on the street "Siri Kodra". It is an old house with typical Tirana architecture. Its construction is 1400. The house serves as a traditional restaurant and art gallery where 100 works in painting are exhibited. It is considered the oldest house in Ballkan.Me the first time in 350 AD the house of painter Sali Shijakut was a Turkish hospital. The trees in that house were called traur and painted with petrol or oil. This house is called a cultural monument. On the first floor was the waiting room that took place various activities near the chimney and the place was filled with rare and special paintings. On the second floor there were only rooms to sleep in but also the place was filled with paintings and portraits. Many objects in that house were called morjental motives. There was an old ark with dark paintings where the bride's pajas were placed there.

20. Tirana Archeological Museum

The National Archaeological Museum is the national archaeological museum in Tirana, Albania opened on 1 November 1948. It was the first museum founded after the second World War in the country. It is located on the east of the Mother Teresa Square near the University of Tirana.
