1. Mercado Central

The Central Market, formerly called the Municipal Market of Belo Horizonte, is a market located in the center of Belo Horizonte, in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It was created on September 7, 1929 by the then mayor Cristiano Machado. He belonged to the City Hall of Belo Horizonte until 1964. Its warehouse occupies an entire block of the city center, with the main entrance facing Augusto de Lima Avenue.

2. Lagoinha Church

Lagoinha Baptist Church is a charismatic Evangelical Baptist multi-site megachurch based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais in Brazil. Márcio Valadão is the current senior pastor of the church. The church became known through one of its ministries, the worship ministry Diante do Trono, which is one of the world's largest ministries of praise, worship and mission. Some of the main services are broadcast live via Internet and also via their own TV and radio station: Rede Super. It is affiliated with the Convenção Batista Nacional and Baptist World Alliance.

Israel Pinheiro Square, better known as Praça do Papa, is an important square located in the neighborhood of Mangabeiras, in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. It is located near the base of the Serra do Curral, at the end of Avenida Agulhas Negras and at an altitude of more than 1,100 m. In its vicinity are other attractions of the city, such as the Mangabeiras Park, designed by Burle Marx and the Peanut Street, famous for the illusion that objects freely climb a slope.

4. Capela Curial de São Francisco de Assis

The Church of Saint Francis of Assisi is a chapel in Pampulha region of Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil. It was designed by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer in the organic modern style. It is the first listed modern architectural monument in Brazil and consists of four undulating concrete parabolas with outdoor mosaics. The interior hosts a mural by Candido Portinari, and the exterior features a landscape designed by Roberto Burle Marx.

The Minas Gerais Public Archive is a unit of the Minas Gerais State Department of Culture and Tourism. It was created by Mining Law No. 126, of July 11, 1895, during the administration of the President of the State Chrispim Jacques Bias Fortes, who sanctioned it with the referendum of the Secretary of Interior Affairs Henrique Augusto de Oliveira Diniz, to whose secretariat the agency was linked. Its collection served as the basis for the subsequent creation of the Mining Museum. He is currently part of the Circuito Liberdade.

The Abílio Barreto Historical Museum (MHAB) is a museum located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Located on Avenida Prudente de Morais, in the Cidade Jardim neighborhood, the museum is housed in an old farmhouse that survived the construction of the capital of Minas Gerais. The institution has currently consolidated itself as the City Museum and, in addition to holding short, medium and long-term exhibitions, it promotes cultural and educational events.

8. Museu de Artes e Ofícios

The Museum of Arts and Crafts. is a Brazilian museum located in the city of Belo Horizonte. Inaugurated on December 14, 2005, it is the first Brazilian museum project entirely dedicated to the theme of work, arts and crafts in the country. With an area of 9,000 m², the museum is housed in the historic complex of the former Central Station of the Central Railroad of Brazil, in Rui Barbosa Square, better known as Station Square and the former Belo Horizonte Station of the West of Minas Railroad. It is one of the best structured museums in Brazil in terms of organization, structure for exhibitions and use of audiovisual resources.

9. Praça Carlos Chagas

Better known as Assembly Square, Carlos Chagas Square is located in the Santo Agostinho neighborhood of Belo Horizonte. In the center of the square is the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, surrounded by gardens designed by Burle Marx. Large area equipped with playground and walking track. It is also home to the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais, hence the most common name. Currently in the square there are statues of three important figures for the state of Minas Gerais: Tancredo Neves, Ulysses Guimarães and Teotônio Vilela.

The museum is part of the Praça da Liberdade Cultural Circuit, having been inaugurated on March 22, 2010 with an architectural project by Paulo Mendes da Rocha and a museographic project by Marcello Dantas.

11. Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes

The Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes, also known as the Basilica of Belo Horizonte, is a Catholic church built in a predominantly neo-Gothic style, which is located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Its construction was completed around 1923. The author of the project was Manoel Tunes, and the works were made by Antonio Gonçalves Gravatá. In 1958 he was elevated to Basilica by decision of Pope Pius XII.

12. Parque da Matinha

Located in the Northeast Region of Belo Horizonte, it has 15,930.00 m² of fully fenced area. Its creation took place in 1991 through a Municipal Decree, with the name of Parque da Matinha. A flaw in the interpretation of later legislation caused the name "Reserva Ecológica do Bairro União" to be used to refer to the same place, even in brochures and old communications from the city of Belo Horizonte; Such nomenclature, however, is not official.

The Minas Gerais Vale Memorial Museum is an artistic and cultural museum dedicated to the traditions of the people of Minas Gerais located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The old building of the Secretariat of Finance was restored and adapted to show the public the history of Minas Gerais. Sponsored by Vale, which invested R$ 27 million, the memorial has a restoration project by Flávio Grillo. It was inaugurated on November 30, 2010 and is part of the Praça da Liberdade Cultural Circuit.

15. Cine Theatro Brasil

The Cine Theatro Brasil, currently called Cine Theatro Brasil Vallourec, is a historic building in Belo Horizonte, built in 1932 in Praça Sete de Setembro to function as the main cinema and largest theater in the city. It is a large 11-story building whose curvilinear angled façade marks the corner of Amazonas Avenue and Carijós Street. Designed by the architect Alberto Murgel, it is one of the forerunners of reinforced concrete and features the façade in powder-of-stone, a typical finish of the art deco architectural style.
