Pterodactylus is a genus of extinct pterosaurs. It is thought to contain only a single species, Pterodactylus antiquus, which was the first pterosaur to be named and identified as a flying reptile and one of the first prehistoric reptiles to ever be discovered.
2. Parque Ecuador
Ecuador Park is a Chilean park belonging to the city of Concepción, in the Biobío Region. It is located at the foot of Cerro Caracol and very close to the city center, being divided from the urban center by Víctor Lamas Street. It corresponds to a large recreational area of approximately 1.34 km in length, starting at the intersection of Víctor Lamas Street with Tucapel, and ending at Pedro de Valdivia Avenue; with several points of historical, social and cultural relevance.
3. Casa del Arte José Clemente Orozco (Pinacoteca)
The Casa del Arte José Clemente Orozco is a Chilean art museum on the campus of the University of Concepción, in Concepción. It is situated on the corner of Chacabuco and Larenas, facing the Plaza Perú. The gallery attracts approximately 75,000 visitors a year and houses the country's largest collection of paintings outside the capital city of Santiago, and the most complete collection of Chilean art with some 1,800 works. One of its main features is the mural Presencia de América Latina (1964) by the Mexican artist Jorge González Camarena, which is in the entrance hall.
4. Cerro Caracol
Cerro Caracol is a geographical landmark of the city of Concepción, Chile. It is known as the green lung of the city, due to the large amount of forestation and flora it contains. As a recreational area, it has been "merged" with Parque Ecuador, which is located at the foot of the hill.

7. Homenaje al Espíritu de los Fundadores de la Universidad de Concepción
Homage to the spirit of the founders of the University of Concepción is the name given to a bronze sculpture 7 meters high and 13 tons, sculpted by the Chilean sculptor Samuel Román Rojas during 1965 and officially inaugurated at the University of Concepción on January 7, 1966. The work is located in the forum of the University City of Concepción, in Concepción, Chile, and is a tribute to the founders of this house of studies, whose goal was to create the first secular university in the country, free of discrimination based on religious creeds and political ideologies.

8. Plaza Acevedo
Plaza Acevedo, popularly known as "Plaza Jurásica" or "Plaza de los Dinosaurios", is a green area of the Chilean city of Concepción, in the shape of a triangle, located between San Juan Bosco, Maipú and Collao streets. Its name pays tribute to Luis Acevedo, a pioneer of aviation in Chile, who died on April 13, 1913, when his plane fell on the land where the commune of San Pedro de la Paz is located today. The authorities of the time decided, that same year, to create a square in memory of the aviator. The layout was made on March 21, 1914.

It is a modern architectural construction whose purpose is to commemorate the victims of the earthquake that occurred on February 27, 2010 and affected the south-central area of Chile.

11. Parque Costanera
Parque Costanera is a park located on the north bank of the Bio-Bio River, in the city of Concepción, Chile. It began to be built in 2000 as part of the urban recovery works of the North Bank promoted by the government of Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, whose most important work was the Llacolén Bridge. Throughout the twentieth century, the area was a sector of swamps, occupied by precarious housing and used as a garbage dump. It was inaugurated on March 26, 2003, by President Ricardo Lagos.

Plaza Perú is a square in the city of Concepción, Chile. It is situated in the University District in front of the main entrance of the Ciudad Universitaria de Concepción, by the Arco Universidad de Concepción and adjacent to the Casa del Arte. Built in 1942, there are several historic buildings surrounding the square, which were built in the 1940s. The plaza is known for being a gathering of students at the University of Concepción and youth in general.
14. Cerro Amarillo
Cerro Amarillo is a hill in the city of Concepción, Chile, located between Rozas and Rengo streets, which covers an area of 3000 m² and has an altitude of 30 meters. On top of it is a park created in 1933, currently administered by the Municipality of Concepción, which includes gardens, promenades and viewpoints surrounded by stone masonry walls.
15. Tyrannosaurus rex
Tyrannosaurus is a genus of large theropod dinosaur. The type species Tyrannosaurus rex, often shortened to T. rex or colloquially T-Rex, is one of the best represented theropods. It lived throughout what is now western North America, on what was then an island continent known as Laramidia. Tyrannosaurus had a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids. Fossils are found in a variety of rock formations dating to the latest Campanian-Maastrichtian ages of the late Cretaceous period, 72.7 to 66 million years ago. It was the last known member of the tyrannosaurids and among the last non-avian dinosaurs to exist before the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event.
16. Historia de la medicina y la farmacia en Chile
Historia de la medicina y la farmacia en Chile is a mural created in 1957 by the artist Julio Escámez for the former Maluje pharmacy, now the Alemana drugstore, located at 676 Tucapel Street in the city of Concepción. It is one of Escámez's most important works. Until 2015, it was considered a historically preserved building, with a "cultural" category for the city, and was declared a National Monument of Chile, in the category of Historical Monument, through Decree No. 370, dated September 1, 2015.
