Aberdeen is an area on southwest Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of the Southern District. While the name "Aberdeen" could be taken in a broad sense to encompass the areas of Aberdeen (town), Wong Chuk Hang, Ap Lei Chau, Tin Wan, Wah Kwai Estate and Wah Fu Estate, it is more often used to refer to the town only. According to the population census conducted in 2011, the total population of the Aberdeen area is approximately 80,000.
2. Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is a late 19th-century English Gothic revival church that serves as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. It is located in the Mid-Levels area of the city at 16 Caine Road.

3. St. John's Cathedral
The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Evangelist is the cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Hong Kong Island, and mother church to the Province of Hong Kong and Macao. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Hong Kong and the Bishop of Hong Kong Island.
4. Lan Kwai Fong
Lan Kwai Fong is a small square of streets in Central, Hong Kong. The area was dedicated to hawkers before the Second World War, but underwent a renaissance in the mid-1980s. It is now a popular expatriate haunt in Hong Kong for drinking, clubbing and dining. The street Lan Kwai Fong is L-shaped with two ends joining with D'Aguilar Street.
5. Pillar of Shame
Pillar of Shame is a series of sculptures by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt memorialising the loss of life during specific events or caused by specific circumstances in history. Each sculpture is an eight metres (26 ft) tall statue of bronze, copper or concrete.
6. Government House
Government House, located on Government Hill in Central, Hong Kong, is the official residence of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. It was constructed in 1855 as a Colonial Renaissance-style building, but was significantly remodelled during the Japanese occupation, resulting in the current hybrid Japanese-neoclassical form.
7. Lin Fa Kung
Lin Fa Temple or Lin Fa Kung is a temple located at the end of Lin Fa Kung Street, which is named after the temple, in the Tai Hang area in the southeastern part of Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. It was originally built in 1863, during the Qing dynasty, and was reconstructed in 1986 and 1999. The original use of the temple was a worship place for Guanyin, the goddess of mercy.
8. Kennedy Town
Kennedy Town is at the western end of Sai Wan on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It was named after Arthur Edward Kennedy, the 7th governor of Hong Kong from 1872 to 1877. Administratively, it is part of Central and Western District.

10. Victoria Prison
Victoria Prison, was the first and longest-running prison to date in Hong Kong. It is located on Old Bailey Street in Central, Hong Kong Island. Named in honour of Queen Victoria, it was originally known as Victoria Gaol and was renamed into Victoria Prison in 1899. Victoria Prison has been redeveloped into a cultural and shopping destination generally called Tai Kwun (大館). Tai Kwun is composed of three declared monuments: the former Central Police Station, former Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison.

12. Former Central Police Station
The former Central Police Station of Hong Kong, located at the eastern end of Hollywood Road, in Central, Hong Kong has been redeveloped into a cultural and shopping destination generally called Tai Kwun (大館). Tai Kwun is composed of three declared monuments: the former Central Police Station, former Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison.
13. Pedder Building
The Pedder Building, located at No. 12 Pedder Street, in Central, Hong Kong, is a historic commercial building built in the Beaux-Arts style. Built in 1923, it is the last surviving pre-World War II building in Pedder Street.
14. University Museum and Art Gallery
The University Museum and Art Gallery (UMAG) is located at 90 Bonham Road, next to the University of Hong Kong's East Gate entrance. Its exhibition galleries occupy the Fung Ping Shan Building as well as the first floor of the TT Tsui Building, where also the Museum Store is housed on the ground floor. The two buildings are joined by a bridge.

15. SoHo
SoHo is an area of Hong Kong located on the western edge of Central, bordering Sheung Wan, known for its bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. The name is derived from its location: South of Hollywood Road.
16. The Cenotaph
The Cenotaph is a war memorial constructed in 1923 and located between Statue Square and the City Hall in Central, Hong Kong, that commemorates the dead in the two world wars who served in Hong Kong in the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force. Built in stone, it is an almost exact replica of the Cenotaph on Whitehall in London, UK. It is listed as a monument under the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance.
17. Noonday Gun
The Noonday Gun is a former naval artillery piece mounted on a small enclosed site near the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Owned and operated by Jardine Matheson, the gun is fired every day at noon and has become a tourist attraction.
18. Western Market
Western Market is one of the oldest structures in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The current structure, built in 1906, was the North Block of the original Western Market. It is the oldest surviving market building in the city. The former South Block was demolished in 1981 and its site is now occupied by the Sheung Wan Complex.
19. Museum Of Coastal Defence
The Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence is a public museum in Hong Kong, located in a former coastal defence fort overlooking the Lei Yue Mun channel, near Shau Kei Wan on Hong Kong Island. The fort was built by the British in 1887, intended to defend the eastern approaches to Victoria Harbour.
20. Tamar Park
Tamar Park is an urban park in Admiralty, Hong Kong covering around 17,000 square metres (180,000 sq ft) with the design concept of 'perpetual green'. The park occupies 80% of the Tamar site public space and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong government. It is enclosed by Harcourt Road, Legislative Council Road, Tim Mei Avenue, Tim Wa Avenue and Lung Wo Road. The Central Government Complex and the Legislative Council Complex are adjacent to Tamar Park.
21. Expo Promenade
The Golden Bauhinia Square is an open area in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The square was named after the giant statue of a golden Bauhinia blakeana at the centre of the area, situated outside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where the ceremonies for the handover of Hong Kong and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region were held in July 1997. A flag-raising ceremony is held every day at 8:00 am. It is considered a tourist attraction.
22. 些利街清真寺 Jamia Mosque
The Jamia Mosque is a mosque in Mid-Levels, Hong Kong. The mosque is the oldest mosque in Hong Kong. The neighbouring streets Mosque Street and Mosque Junction are named after this mosque. Mufti Abdul Zaman is the main Imam of this Mosque and he leads prayers and taraweeh in the month of Ramadan.
23. CCC China Congregational Church
The Congregational Church of Christ in China, also known as the Congregational Church of Christ in China, is a congregation of the Church of Christ in China, located at 119 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. Construction of the old church began in March 1950 and was completed in December of the same year. In 2008, it was decided to completely rebuild, the ground was broken on February 28, 2010, the construction was completed at the end of October 2012, and the new church was dedicated on March 31, 2013.
24. Mount Davis
Mount Davis or Mo Sing Leng is an area surrounding and including the westernmost hill on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is 269m tall. Home to mostly luxury residences, Mount Davis was originally settled after the construction of Victoria Road by prominent Hong Kong families who were unable to live on Peak due to the zoning restriction in Peak District Reservation Ordinance, 1904.
25. Hysan Place
Hysan Place is a shopping centre and office building at 500 Hennessy Road, Lee Garden, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. It was developed by Hysan Development Company Limited at the former site of Hennessy Centre and was designed by international architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox. It was opened on 10 August 2012.
26. The Hong Kong Observation Wheel
The Hong Kong Observation Wheel is a 60-metre (197-foot) tall Ferris wheel located at the Central Harbourfront, Central, Hong Kong. It has 42 gondolas, including one VIP Gondola with leather seats and a clear glass bottom floor. All gondolas are equipped with air conditioners and communication systems. Each ride includes two to three rotations and takes about 15 minutes. Each gondola seats a maximum of eight people, other than the VIP Gondola, which seats five people.
27. Edward Youde Aviary
The Edward Youde Aviary is a 3,000-square-metre (32,000 sq ft) aviary built over a natural valley at the southern corner of Hong Kong Park, which is located in Central at the bottom of the north eastern slope of Victoria Peak in Hong Kong. The Edward Youde Aviary was opened to the public in September 1992 and managed by the Urban Council. The aviary, largest in Southeast Asia, is named after the late Sir Edward Youde, the Governor of Hong Kong from 1982 to 1986.
28. Alexander Grantham
The Alexander Grantham was a fireboat of Hong Kong's Fire Services Department. The fireboat was named after former Governor Sir Alexander Grantham. The boat has since retired from service and been replaced by other vessels.
29. Police Museum
The Police Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of policing in Hong Kong. The museum is housed in the former Wan Chai Gap Police Station, located at 27 Coombe Road, Wan Chai Gap, The Peak. About 1,200 exhibits are displayed in the Museum and there is generally one rotating specialised exhibition display.
30. Hong Kong Film Archive
The Hong Kong Film Archive is a public film archive collects, preserves, and screens Hong Kong films and other related materials. The archive was founded in 1993, when its Planning Office was opened by the Urban Council. It joined the International Federation of Film Archives in 1996. The archive has been under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department since 2000.
31. Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre
The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre is located in Hong Kong Park, at 7A Kennedy Road above Central, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It was opened by Leung Ding-Bong, then chairman of the Urban Council, on 28 April 1992.
32. Dragon's Back
The Dragon's Back is a mountain ridge in southeastern Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong that passes through Shek O Peak. It lies within the Shek O Country Park. In 2019, the Dragon's Back Trail was selected by CNN as one of the world's 23 best trails. Dragon's Back is part of Stage 8 of the Hong Kong Trail.
33. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park
Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park is a waterfront park in the Sai Ying Pun area of Hong Kong Island, facing Victoria Harbour. The park is named after Sun Yat-sen, and is the only one in Hong Kong named for a Chinese historic figure.

35. 羅屋民俗館
Law Uk is a former Hakka village house in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. Named after the surname of the family who lived in the house, it was built in the mid-18th century during the Qing Dynasty, about 90 years before the British took possession of Hong Kong Island. It was rediscovered in the 1970s and is a declared monument of Hong Kong. After being restored, the house was turned into the Law Uk Folk Museum, which serves as a branch of the Hong Kong Museum of History. It is the only example of Hakka architecture left in the area.
36. Belcher Bay Park
Belcher's Bay Park is a park managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department in Hong Kong, located opposite 38 Kennedy Town, Hong Kong Island. Named Belcher's Bay Temporary Park at the time of its completion, the Park was awarded the Gold Medal in January 1999 under the Green City Talent Award Scheme, and was later renamed in 2002 with a total area of 100 metres × 300 metres.

The Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum is a museum in Tung Tau Wan Road, Stanley, Hong Kong. It was originally housed in the Staff Training Institute of the Hong Kong Correctional Services Department.
38. Harcourt Garden
Harcourt Garden is a small urban park in Admiralty, Hong Kong, constructed in the mid-1990s. To the east of the park is the Hong Kong Police Headquarters while to the west is Admiralty bus station. Like the adjacent Harcourt Road, the park is named for Admiral Cecil Harcourt, de facto governor of Hong Kong from September 1945 to June 1946.
39. Central and Western District Promenade - Sheung Wan Section
The Central and Western District Promenade (English: ) is one of the three promenades in Hong Kong, which has been completed in phases from 2009 to 2018 in the Sheung Wan section, the Central section and the Western District Wholesale Food Market section. After the opening of the Wan Chai Temporary Waterfront Garden Extension in 2019, together with other waterfront open spaces under different names (e.g. Fung Wu Road Waterfront and Central Pier Promenade), the waterfront promenade from Shek Tong Tsui (Western District Wholesale Food Market) to Wan Chai (Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre) will be fully connected, making it the longest waterfront promenade on both sides of Victoria Harbour.
40. Ap Lei Chau Wind Tower Park
Ap Lei Chau Tower of Winds Park (English: ) referred to as Ap Lei Chau Park, is a park in Hong Kong, located on the north shore of Ap Lei Chau on Hong Kong Island, west of the Ap Lei Chau promenade, south of the Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter, formerly known as the City Bus Depot, covering an area of 2.62 hectares, commissioned by the government Design 2 as the site architectural design and general consultant, built at a cost of HK$100 million, opened on September 28, 2009, managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
41. Causeway Bay Tin Hau Temple
The Tin Hau Temple in Causeway Bay is one of the Tin Hau temples in Hong Kong. It is located at 10 Tin Hau Temple Road, Causeway Bay, east of Victoria Park, in Eastern District, on Hong Kong Island. The temple has given its name to the MTR station serving it, and consequently the neighbouring area of Tin Hau.
42. Tai Tam Country Park
Tai Tam Country Park is a country park in the Tai Tam area in the south end of Hong Kong Island. At 1,315 hectares, the park consists of one fifth of Hong Kong Island's land mass. During World War II, the Japanese encountered strong resistance from British defence forces here. So that the park preserves bloody memories from that period.
43. Hung Shing Temple, Ap Lei Chau
Hung Shing Temple, Ap Lei Chau, is a Hong Kong temple located at 9 Hung Shing Street, Ap Lei Chau, in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, adjacent to Ap Lei Chau Municipal Services Building and Ap Lei Chau Promenade, and is now declared a monument in Hong Kong. It is now managed by the Chinese Temple Committee.
44. Pak Tai Temple, Wan Chai
The Wan Chai Pak Tai Temple, also known as Yuk Hui Kung, is located on Lung On Street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It was built by locals in 1863. The temple is dedicated to Pak Tai, a martial deity, and houses a 3 metres (9.8 ft) Ming Dynasty statue of Pak Tai built in 1603, as well as a number of antique bells cast in 1863. It is decorated with a large number of lotus lanterns.
45. Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Kau Yan Church
Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Kau Yan Church is a church in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong. The building is located at Western Street, between Third and High Streets. The church was established by the Basel Mission and is now succeeded by the Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong.
46. Stanley Ma Hang Park
Ma Hang Park in Stanley, referred to as Ma Hang Park, is a park in Hong Kong, located in Ma Hang, Stanley, Hong Kong Island, covering an area of 5 hectares. Unlike general parks in Hong Kong, which are under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Ma Hang Park is built and managed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority.
47. Cheung Kong Park
Cheung Kong Park is a small garden located in the Central district of Hong Kong Island and named for Li Ka Shing's corporate empire. The park is privately maintained by Cheung Kong Holdings, but is open to the public. The park consists of ponds and cascades with benches for visitors.
48. Bridges Street Market
Bridges Street Market is located at No. 2 Bridges Street, at the corner of Shing Wong Street, in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. It is a Bauhaus style market building, originally opened in 1953, and scheduled to be renovated and open in 2018 as a news museum.
49. Shau Kei Wan Tin Hau Temple
Shau Kei Wan Tin Hau Temple, located at 53 Shau Kei Wan East Street, Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong Island, is now listed as a Grade 2 historic building in Hong Kong and is managed by the Chinese Temple Council.
50. Wong Chuk Hang Tai Wong Yeh Temple
Wong Chuk Hang Tai Wong Ye Temple is a temple in Hong Kong, located at the junction of Nam Long Shan Road and Heung Yip Road in Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong Island, on the south side of the Wong Chuk Hang Nullah. This is the only temple on Hong Kong Island.
51. Race Course Fire Memorial
The Race Course Fire Memorial is a Hong Kong monument erected in memory to those who were killed in the Happy Valley Racecourse fire on 26 February 1918. The memorial was completed in 1922, and is currently managed by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. It is located next to Hong Kong Stadium. The site was added to the list of declared monuments by the Antiquities and Monuments Office in 2015.
52. Stephen Hui Geological Museum
The Stephen Hui Geological Museum is the first and only geological museum in Hong Kong. It is located on the ground and first floors of the James Hsioung Lee Building (厲樹雄科學館), in the University of Hong Kong Main Campus. The museum is part of the Department of Earth Sciences, the only earth sciences department in Hong Kong.
53. Stanley Mound
The Twins, also officially known as Ma Kong Shan, are a pair of mountains in southern Hong Kong. They are a popular destination for hikers and fitness enthusiasts as part of the rigorous Violet Hill-The Twins Hike on Hong Kong Island. Hiking up The Twins involves walking up a long steep set of stairs featuring more than 1000 steps straight up.
54. Statue of Sir Thomas Jackson, 1st Baronet
The statue of Sir Thomas Jackson, 1st Baronet is a bronze sculpture by Mario Raggi, installed in Statue Square, a public pedestrian square in Central, Hong Kong. It was unveiled on 24 February 1906 by the Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Matthew Nathan. At that time, the statue was facing the HSBC building.
55. Lung Fu Shan
Lung Fu Shan or Hill Above Belcher's is a 831-foot (253 m) hill on the northwestern part of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, and an area on the northeastern slope of the hill where the main campus and centennial campus of the University of Hong Kong are located.
56. Aldrich Bay Park
Aldrich Bay Park is a park with fishing village as its theme. Located at the waterfront of Aldrich Bay, Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong, it is 22,000 square feet in size. The park was opened on 11 April 2011 and is now managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
57. Cape D'Aguilar Lighthouse
Cape D'Aguilar Lighthouse is one of the declared monuments of Hong Kong. It is also known as Hok Tsui Beacon. The lighthouse is one of five pre-war surviving lighthouses in Hong Kong; it is also the oldest lighthouse in Hong Kong. Two of the five lighthouses are on Green Island while the other three are at Cape D'Aguilar, Waglan Island and Tang Lung Chau respectively. Waglan Lighthouse and Tang Lung Chau Lighthouse are also declared monuments of Hong Kong.
58. Tsing Chau Lighthouse
Green Island is an island off the northwest coast of Kennedy Town, Hong Kong Island, separated by the Sulphur Channel. A smaller island nearby to the east, uninhabited, is called Little Green Island (小青洲). Administratively, the two islands are part of Central and Western District.
59. Victoria Park
Victoria Park is a public park in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai District, Hong Kong. The park is named after Queen Victoria, who has a statue in the park. It is around 190,000 square metres (19 ha) in size and contains sporting facilities for tennis, association football, basketball, handball, volleyball, swimming, jogging, fitness, roller skating, and bowling.
60. HSBC Main Building
The HSBC Head Office Building is located in Central, Hong Kong, and is the head office of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. Sandwiched between Queen's Road Central and Des Voeux Road Central, the building is close to Statue Square, Standard Chartered Bank Building and MTR Central Station. Its registered address is 1 Queen's Road Central; Some people mistakenly think that the entrance of Des Voeux Road, where the bronze lion is located facing Statue Square, is the main entrance, and the real main entrance is the entrance to Queen's Road in the center of the Cheung Kong Group.
61. Kennedy Town Temporary Recreation Ground
Located in Sai Ning Street, Kennedy Town, Central and Western District, Hong Kong, formerly known as the "Gold and Silver Exchange Swimming Shed" and the "Bell Swimming Shed", the Kin Mi Geotown Temporary Playground (English: ) was used as a "sand barn" to store sea sand for construction after the reclamation, and was built into a temporary playground for Kin Mi Tebe in 1976 after the completion of the settlement, so it is also commonly known as the "Shacang Course". Because it is located on Xining Street, it is also known as Xining Street Playground.
62. Western District Public Cargo Working Area
The Western District Public Cargo Working Area, commonly nicknamed the Instagram Pier, is a pier located on the waterfront of Sai Wan, Hong Kong. Originally a container terminal, the cargo dock has become a popular attraction and location for photographers. The Instagram Pier is well known by the public because of its clear view of Victoria Harbour, a major tourist attraction in Hong Kong. From the Instagram Pier, views like those of the Hong Kong skyline, sunsets, old lamp posts, caution barriers, cargo pallets, etc. can be captured.
63. Central-Mid-Levels Escalator System
The Central–Mid-Levels escalator and walkway system in Hong Kong is the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world. The system covers over 800 m (2,600 ft) in distance and traverses an elevation of over 135 m (443 ft) from bottom to top. It opened in 1993 to provide an improved link between Central and the Mid-Levels on Hong Kong Island.

64. Queen Victoria Statue
The statue of Queen Victoria is a bronze sculpture by Mario Raggi. It is currently installed in Victoria Park, in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai District, Hong Kong, near the Causeway Road entrance of the park.
65. Statue of George VI
The statue of George VI is a bronze sculpture by British artist Gilbert Ledward, installed at the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, in Hong Kong. The statue was erected in 1958 to commemorate Hong Kong's centennial, and replaced one depicting Arthur Kennedy.
