The monument to the Girondins, located in Bordeaux on the Place des Quinconces, was erected between 1894 and 1901 in memory of the Girondin deputies who were victims of the Terror. The people of Bordeaux commonly refer to it as the "Girondins' Column" or "Girondin Monument".

3. CAPC - Musée d'art contemporain de Bordeaux

The Entrepôt Lainé, formerly a real warehouse for colonial goods, is a former warehouse located in Bordeaux. Built in 1824 by the architect Claude Deschamps, it was originally intended for the bonded storage of goods from colonial plantations, before they were shipped across Europe. Until the final abolition of slavery in 1848, these commodities were largely the result of slave labour. The building now houses the CAPC Musée d'art contemporain de Bordeaux and Arc en rêve / architecture centre.

The Jean-Moulin National Centre is a Bordeaux museum and documentation centre dedicated to the history of the Second World War and in particular to that of the French Resistance, deportation and the Free French Forces. It was created in 1967 on the initiative of Jacques Chaban-Delmas. Since April 2006, it has been attached to the Musée d'Aquitaine and publishes reference works on the period of the Second World War.

The Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas is a vertical-lift bridge over the Garonne in Bordeaux, France. It was inaugurated on 16 March 2013 by President François Hollande and Alain Juppé, mayor of Bordeaux. Its main span is 110 m (361 ft) long. As of 2013, it is the longest vertical-lift bridge in Europe. It is named in honour of Jacques Chaban-Delmas, a former Prime Minister of France and a former mayor of Bordeaux.

Bordeaux-Saint-Jean or formerly Bordeaux-Midi is the main railway station in the French city of Bordeaux. It is the southern terminus of the Paris–Bordeaux railway, and the western terminus of the Chemins de fer du Midi main line from Toulouse. The station is the main railway interchange in Aquitaine and links Bordeaux to Paris, Sète, Toulouse Matabiau and Spain.

Bordeaux-Ségur station was the first railway station in the commune of Bordeaux (Gironde). Opened in 1841 at the eastern end of the line from Bordeaux to La Teste, conceded in 1837 to the Compagnie du chemin de fer de Bordeaux à La Teste, it was closed in 1855 following the creation of a connection between this line and the new Bordeaux-Saint-Jean station.
