Montlaurès is an oppidum located a few kilometres north-west of Narbonne that was occupied from the 5th century BC. until the Middle Ages. During protohistory, this oppidum belonging to the Elisycs was a stronghold and commercial place located near the Aude. Even after the establishment of the Roman colony of Narbonne from 118 BC, the oppidum continued to be intensively occupied for almost 70 years before gradually being abandoned. The excavations carried out on the site of Montlaurès have yielded many objects that shed some light on the inhabitants of the time, belonging to the Ibero-Languedoc culture.
2. Narbo Via
The Narbo Via Museum is located in Narbonne, in the Aude department and Occitanie region. It opened on May 19, 2021. The building, designed by the Foster + Partnets agency, houses the particularly rich Roman archaeological collections of Narbonne. It depends on the EPCC Narbo Via, a public institution for cultural cooperation, which also manages the Amphoralis museum-site in Sallèles-d'Aude and the underground galleries of the Horreum in Narbonne.
3. Les Chevaliers Cathares
The Cathar Knights is a monumental sculpture made of cement, made by Jacques Tissinier and installed in 1980 on the edge of the Deux Mers motorway in the territory of Narbonne. It brings together three cement "knights", each 13 metres high, which "evokes the Cathar memory". It was acquired in 1982 by Autoroutes du Sud de la France for 190,000 francs.
4. Vestiges archéologiques du Clos de la Lombarde
The archaeological remains of the Clos de la Lombarde are a set of mostly Gallo-Roman remains discovered during archaeological excavations in the city of Narbonne. The excavations have uncovered an exceptional set of mosaics and wall paintings, which have earned the site the classification as a historical monument since 2007.

5. Via Domitia
The Via Domitia was the first Roman road built in Gaul, to link Italy and Hispania through Gallia Narbonensis, across what is now Southern France. The route that the Romans regularised and paved was ancient when they set out to survey it, and traces the mythic route travelled by Heracles.
6. Musée Lapidaire
The church of Notre-Dame de Lamourguier or the church of Notre-Dame de la Mourguier is a former priory of the town of Narbonne, of which only the church remains, disused for worship and transformed into a lapidary depot from 1868 to 2018, and vacant since then.
7. Horreum Romain
The Horreum is a Roman monument located in Narbonne in the heart of the city, about a hundred meters north of the Archbishops' Palace. The site has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1960 and 1961.
