1. Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theater

The Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theater is a theatre in Annaberg-Buchholz in the Ore Mountains and operates under the umbrella of the Erzgebirgische Theater und Orchester GmbH (ETO), to which the Erzgebirgische Philharmonie also belongs as the orchestra of the house.

2. Bergkirche Sankt Marien

The mountain church of St. Mary, built between 1502 and 1511, is the only miner's special church in Saxony. It was built by the miners for the miners on the northwest side of the market square of Annaberg-Buchholz.

3. Manufaktur der Träume

The Manufactory of Dreams is an adventure museum in Annaberg-Buchholz. It houses the Marie Ströher Memorial Collection on 1100 square meters. The museum and the exhibition were opened to the public on October 29, 2010. The collection includes folk art from a period between the 18th century and the present day. Most of the exhibits date from the period between 1890 and 1930. The collection is considered the most extensive and important private collection of Erzgebirge folk art in the German-speaking world.

4. Trinitatiskirche

The Hospital Church of St. Trinity in Annaberg is a neoclassical hall church in the Saxon Ore Mountains. The church was built on the site of the previous building, which burned down in 1826 in front of the former Wolkenstein Gate, which formed a complex with the hospital and the city cemetery. The church, which has been empty for a long time, is to become a centre for contemporary art. The pilgrimage to St. Trinitatis, which was initiated in 1519, developed into the Kät, the largest folk festival in the Ore Mountains.

5. Frohnauer Hammer

The Frohnauer Hammer is an historic hammer mill in Frohnau, a village in the municipality of Annaberg-Buchholz in the Ore Mountains of southeast Germany. The mill is an important witness to proto-industrial development in the Ore Mountains. Of the once-numerous hammer mills only three others remain working in Saxony: the Dorfchemnitz Iron Hammer Mill, the Grünthal Copper Hammer Mill and the Freibergsdorf Hammer Mill.

6. St.-Annenkirche

St. Anne's Church in Annaberg-Buchholz, German Free State of Saxony, is a hall church whose architectural style is on the boundary between the Late Gothic and Saxon Renaissance. With a length of 65 metres (213 ft) and width of 40 metres (130 ft), it is the largest, true hall church of the Late Gothic in Saxony. Its tower is 78 metres (256 ft) high, the interior of the church 28 metres (92 ft) high. It is the emblem of the town and visible from a long way off. Saint Anne's was originally built in 1499 as a Roman Catholic church, but became Lutheran in 1539.

7. Erzgebirgsmuseum

The Ore Mountain Museum is a museum in Annaberg-Buchholz in the German state of Saxony and located in the Ore Mountains of Central Europe. Its display includes examples of Ore Mountain folk art, especially carvings, bobbin work and passements) and gives an insight into the history of the town of Annaberg and of silver mining in the region. The museum also owns a work from the workshop of Lucas Cranach the Younger from 1572 and a large collection of valuable pewter vessels. Adjoining the museum is the visitor mine of Im Gößner.
