1. Donauquelle
The Danube is conventionally taken to be formed by the confluence of the two streams Brigach and Breg just east of Donaueschingen. Hydrologically, the source of the Danube is the source of the Breg as the larger of the two formative streams which rises near Furtwangen.

The Donaueschingen Children's and Youth Museum is a museum for children and young people in Donaueschingen, which is supported by the MACH MIT! – Museum for Children and Young People in Donaueschingen e.V. The museum is housed on the 1st floor of the Fürstlich Fürstenbergische Hofbibliothek Donaueschingen. The museum is divided into four rooms, which are run as the Room of Wonder, Space Nature, Space Technology and Space People. Here, visitors can work independently or under the guidance of tutors on experiment boxes and exhibits in the individual subject areas. The focus is on the concepts of science and technology as well as the resource use concept Cradle to Cradle according to Michael Braungart and William McDonough.
