The Gera Theatre belongs to the Altenburg Gera Theatre and is Thuringia's only five-genre theatre. The main venue and one of three theatre buildings in this city is the Great House. 2. Tierpark Gera
The Thuringian Forest Zoo Gera was founded in 1962 as a small home animal enclosure and developed into the largest forest zoo in eastern Thuringia and one of the largest in Thuringia.
