2. Schloss Sonnenstein

The Sonnenstein Castle is a castle in Pirna, near Dresden, Germany. It housed a mental hospital, which operated from 1811 to the end of World War II in 1945. During the War, it functioned as an extermination centre for the Nazi Aktion T4 program. It was shut down following the war, and reopened in 1970.

The Pirna City Bridge is a 295.45 m long Elbe bridge in Pirna from 1875. As a combined road and railway bridge, the stone arch bridge carries the state road 164 and the Kamenz–Pirna railway line and connects Pirna's western suburbs near the centre of Pirna with the northern district of Copitz at Elbe kilometre 34.34. To distinguish it from the Sachsenbrücke, which was completed in 1999, the bridge through the city of Pirna has been given the name "Stadtbrücke".
