1. Josephskreuz
The Joseph Cross is an observation tower in form of a double cross on the 580-metre-high Großer Auerberg near Stolberg (Harz), Germany. The Joseph Cross is a steel framework construction with a height of 38 metres and a weight of 125 tons, which was built between 20 April 1896 and 9 August 1896. The Joseph Cross was closed for visitors from 1987 to 1990, before being refurbished and reopened.
2. St. Martini
The Protestant town church of St. Martini is a basilica in the district of Stolberg in the municipality of Südharz in the Mansfeld-Südharz district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It belongs to the parish of Stolberg/Kirchspiel am Auerberg in the Protestant church district of Eisleben-Sömmerda of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany and dominates the cityscape with its steep gable roof. It is Thomas Müntzer's baptismal church and was later one of his preaching places.
3. Heimkehle
The Heimkehle is one of two great gypsum caves in Germany that are accessible as show caves. It lies on the southern edge of the Harz Mountains between Rottleberode and Uftrungen, east of Nordhausen, right on the state border between Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt. The cave may be visited as part of a 45-minute-long guided tour.
