1. Sankt-Petri-Dom zu Schleswig
Schleswig Cathedral officially the Cathedral of St. Peter at Schleswig, is the main church of the city of Schleswig and was the cathedral of the Bishop of Schleswig until the diocese was dissolved in 1624. It is now a church of the North Elbian Evangelical Lutheran Church, the seat of the Lutheran Bishop of Schleswig and Holstein, and ranks among the most important architectural monuments of Schleswig-Holstein.
2. Gottorf Castle
Gottorf Castle is a castle and estate in the city of Schleswig, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is one of the most important secular buildings in Schleswig-Holstein, and has been rebuilt and expanded several times in its over eight hundred years of history, changing from a medieval castle to a Renaissance fortress to a Baroque palace.
3. Globushaus
The Globe of Gottorf is a 17th-century, large, walk-in globe of the Earth and the celestial sphere. It measures 3.1 meters in diameter. Conceived and constructed at Gottorf Castle near Schleswig, it was later transferred to the Kunstkamera museum in Saint Petersburg in Russia. Following a fire in 1747 most of the globe had to be reconstructed. A modern replica was constructed in 2005 at the original location near Schleswig.
4. Dreifaltigkeitskirche
The Holy Trinity Church is the Evangelical Lutheran church of the Schleswig district of Friedrichsberg. It belongs to the parish of Schleswig in the church district of Schleswig-Flensburg within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany.
5. Stadtpark Königswiesen
The Königswiesen is a city park of about 16 hectares in the city of Schleswig. The park extends west of the old town on the north bank of the Kleine Breite of the Schlei. Opposite the Königswiesen is the Seagull Island. Immediately north of the park is the Lollfuß district. In the run-up to the 2008 State Garden Show held on the Königswiesen, the park was redesigned in terms of landscape architecture.
6. Stadtmuseum Schleswig
The Schleswig City Museum is located in the Günderothscher Hof, an ensemble of historic buildings in Friedrichstraße in the Schleswig district of Friedrichsberg. The exhibition gives an overview of the history and culture of Schleswig from the Middle Ages to the present day. The city museum has an exhibition area of 1500 square meters in five buildings. Branches are the Museum of Outsider Art and the Holm Museum.
7. Wasserturm Schleswig-Nord
The Schleswig-Nord water tower is located in the middle of a residential area on a hill in the north of Schleswig. After the conversion, the 37.3 m high building presents itself in unadorned, functional forms.
