Get Ticket*Kushida-jinja (櫛田神社) is a Shinto shrine located in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. Dedicated to Amaterasu and Susanoo, it is said to have been founded in 757. The Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival is centred on the shrine.
2. Fukuoka Tower
Get Ticket*Fukuoka Tower is a 234-metre (768 ft) tall tower located in the Momochihama area of Fukuoka, Japan. It is the tallest seaside tower in Japan. The highest observation deck at 123 metres has a 360° view of the surrounding area, being most visited at sunset. Fukuoka Tower was finished in 1989, taking a total of 14 months to build at a cost of ¥6 billion. It was designed by Nikken Sekkei and constructed on a reclaimed land out of Hakata Bay.

Get Ticket*Fukuoka Castle is a Japanese castle located in Chūō-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. It is also known as Maizuru Castle or Seki Castle. Completed in the early Edo period for tozama daimyō Kuroda Nagamasa, it has been decreed a historic site by the Japanese government.

Garuda Indonesia Flight 865 (GA865/GIA865) was a scheduled international flight from Fukuoka, Japan, to Jakarta, Indonesia via Bali, Indonesia. On 13 June 1996, Flight 865 crashed on takeoff from runway 16 at Fukuoka Airport. Out of the 275 occupants on board, 3 were killed.

Nishi Park is a town in Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is also the name of an urban park (Fuki Park) operated by Fukuoka Prefecture in a part of the town. Nishi Park as an administrative place name (a single town name without a chome setting) has already been labeled as a residence in the entire area. The area of the town is about 27.39 hectares, of which the area of the park is about 17.0 hectares. The population as of the end of September 2022 is 1,182. The postal code is 810-0061.

Higashi Park is a Fukuoka Prefectural Urban Park (general park) located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is also an administrative place name (a single town name without a chome setting) that includes the park. Housing labeling has been implemented in all areas. It covers an area of 25.05 hectares. The population as of the end of September 2022 is 332. The postal code is 812-0045.
7. Iwami Shigetaro Birth Place
Kanasuke Usuda was a military commander from the Sengoku period to the early Edo period. His common name was Hayato no Shō. He served Toyotomi Hideyori. It is said that Kanasuke's predecessor was Iwami Jūtarō, known from storytelling.
8. Marine World Uminonakamichi
Marine World Uminonakamichi is a public aquarium in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is a member of the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums (JAZA), and the aquarium is accredited as a Museum-equivalent facilities by the Museum Act from Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
9. Shōfuku-ji Temple
Shōfuku-ji (聖福寺) is a Buddhist temple located in the Gokushōmachi neighborhood of Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan. It belongs to the Rinzai school Myōshin-ji-branch of Japanese Zen. Its sangō prefix is Ankokuzan (安国山). It was founded by Eisai with support from Minamoto no Yoritomo, is the oldest Zen temple in Japan. Its precincts were designated a National Historic Site in 1969.
10. Tōchō Temple
Tōchō-ji (東長寺) is a Shingon temple in Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan. Its honorary sangō prefix is Nangakuzan (南岳山). It was founded by Kūkai in 806, making it the oldest Shingon temple on the island of Kyushu.
11. 崇福寺
Sōfuku-ji (崇福寺) is a Rinzai temple in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. Its honorary sangō prefix is Yokodakezan (横岳山). The temple was founded by the monk Tan'e (湛慧) in Dazaifu in 1240, but was moved to its present location in 1600 after it became the Kuroda family temple.
12. Sumiyoshi Shrine
Sumiyoshi Shrine (住吉神社) is a Shinto shrine in the Sumiyoshi neighborhood of Hakata-ku, Fukuoka in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is the ichinomiya of former Chikuzen Province. The main festival of the shrine is held annually on October 13. Along with the more famous Sumiyoshi-taisha in Osaka and the Sumiyoshi Jinja in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, it is one of the "Three Great Sumiyoshi" shrines.

Najima Water Aerodrome was a seaplane airfield dedicated to seaplanes located near the mouth of the Tatara River on the island of Najima, Tatara Village, Kasuya District, Fukuoka Prefecture (present-day 1-1 Najima, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City).
14. Mt. Abura
Mount Abura is a 597 m (1,959 ft) mountain located on the border of Minami-ku, Fukuoka, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka and Jonan-ku, Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Mount Abura is the location where the Indian Buddhist priest Seiga produced the first camellia oil from seeds made in Japan during the Nara period. Abura means oil in Japanese.
15. 光雲神社
Terumo Shrine (光雲神社) is a Shinto shrine in Fukuoka City. Latterly located in Nishi Park in the Chūō-ku ward of the city, the shrine and all contents were destroyed in 1945; a reconstruction in modern materials was erected in 1966.
16. 福岡県立美術館
Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art opened in Fukuoka, Japan, in 1985. The collection focuses upon artists from Fukuoka Prefecture and Kyūshū more generally, and includes works by Koga Harue. The Museum's precursor, the Fukuoka Prefectural Cultural Hall (福岡県文化会館), which combined art museum with library, opened on 3 November 1964.
17. 丸隈山古墳
The Marukumayama Kofun is a circular mound located at the foot of Mt. Koso in Shubunji, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is designated as a national historic site as one of the "Imajuku Kofun Group".
18. Shoryuji Temple
Shoryuji Temple is a temple of Nichiren Buddhism located in Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The name of the mountain is Mt. Zhengxing. The former main temple is Kyoto Myokakuji Temple, Shinshi Hoen. In the precincts, there is the grave of Army General Genjiro Akashi (from the nearby daimyo town) and the monument of the headquarters of the Conquering Army of the Southwest War.
