Chūrenji Temple is a temple of the Shingon sect of the Chizan sect (Shingi Shingon sect) located in Oami, Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. After the war, there was a period when it was temporarily independent as the main temple of the Yudonzan sect of the Shingi Shingon sect. The name of the mountain is Mt. Yudono. The honzon is Dainichi Nyorai.
2. Mt. Haguro
Mount Haguro is one of the Three Mountains of Dewa in the city of Tsuruoka, the ancient province of Dewa, Japan. It is a large shrine complex with a major Shinto shrine associated with Shugendo. As the lowest of the three mountains, standing at 414 m (1,358 ft), it is the only one that is accessible throughout the year. By contrast Gassan Shrine and Yudonosan Shrine, which are closed during winter due to heavy snowfall. Because of this it is considered the main shrine.

4. 鶴岡市立藤沢周平記念館
The Shuhei Fujisawa Memorial Museum is a municipal literary museum in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, commemorating the writer Shuhei Fujisawa, who was born in the same area. Located in Tsuruoka Park (Tsurugaoka Castle Ruins), it opened on April 29, 2010.
5. 荘内神社
Shonai Shrine is a shrine located in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. The four ancestors of the Sakai family, the lord of the Shonai domain, are enshrined as shrine deities. One of the shrines dedicated to the feudal ancestors that was popular from the late Edo period to the early Meiji period.

The Higashitagawa Cultural Memorial Museum is a memorial museum located in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. The buildings of the former Higashitagawa County Office and the former Higashitagawa County Assembly Building are designated as Yamagata Prefecture Designated Tangible Cultural Properties, and the site is designated as a national historic site as the "Former Higashitagawa County Office and County Parliament Building".
