Gedenkteken A. A. van Bergen IJzendoorn

The Monument Van Bergen IJzendoorn is a memorial from 1895 in the city of Gouda, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The memorial, designed by architect Willem Kromhout, is in memory of Mr. A. A. van Bergen IJzendoorn, mayor from 1864 to 1895.

2. 't Slot

't Slot is a flour mill located at Punt 17 in Gouda. The mill was built in 1832 to replace an earlier octagonal tower mill that was destroyed by fire in 1831. It is the third mill on the site where the castle of the Lords of Ter Gouw once stood. The first mill on that site dates from 1581. The municipality of Gouda has owned the mill since 1962. From 2003 to 2005 't Slot was restored.

3. Haastrechtse Molen

The Haastrechtse Molen is a round stone windmill at Provincialeweg West 64 (IJsseldijk) in Gouda. This polder mill, a national monument from 1862, is owned by the Schieland and Krimpenerwaard Water Board. The mill drains the polder Beneden Haastrecht electrically or by wind power. The mill has an auger for drainage.

4. De Goudse Schouwburg

The Goudse Schouwburg is a theatre in the Dutch city of Gouda. The current theatre on the Boelekade from 1992 was designed by AGS Architects and Planners, J. Paré from Heerlen. The interior is by T. van Bergen from Delft. The theatre consists of a large auditorium with two semicircular balconies and 813 seats, a small auditorium with 232 seats and a 24-metre-high stage tower with a light ornament by Margot Zandstra. In 1994 the theatre received the Architecture Award of the city of Gouda, a public award. In 2011, the Goudse Schouwburg was named Theatre of the Year by the Association of Free Theatre Producers. In 2016 and 2017 it won the election of 'The most hospitable theatre in the Netherlands'.

5. De Twee Cirkels

De Twee Cirkels

Two circles is a sculpture by Ad Dekkers (1938-1974) along the A12 at the Gouda exit, on the territory of the municipality of Waddinxveen. As is often the case with Ad Dekkers, elementary geometric shapes play an important role in his work.
