1. Thermenmuseum

The Thermenmuseum is an archaeological museum in the centre of the Dutch Limburg city of Heerlen. The museum opened in 1977 and is built around the excavation of a Roman bathhouse, which is the oldest, largest and best-preserved antique building in the Netherlands.

2. Theater Heerlen

Theater Heerlen, formerly Stadsschouwburg Heerlen, is the largest theater in the Dutch city of Heerlen and Parkstad Limburg and has been part of the Parkstad Limburg Theaters group since 1999, together with the Theater Kerkrade in Kerkrade. Both theatres have a single programme, which is distributed among the buildings.

3. Oliemolen

The Oliemolen is a 16th-century watermill located at the foot of a steep hill in the Aambos, Heerlen in the Netherlands. The name already tells us much about its function, extracting oil, but this was not always the case as it first functioned as a volmolen. The mill is fed by the Caumerbeek.

4. Sint-Gerardus Majellakerk

The Sint-Gerardus Majella Church in Heerlen is a church building in the Dutch province of Limburg. Upon its completion in 1938, the church was dedicated to Gerardus Majella. The building is considered a highlight in the oeuvre of master builder Alphons Boosten and is a national monument, partly because of its connection with the Limburg mining industry and the involvement of various prominent artists.

6. Sint-Josephkerk

The Sint-Josephkerk is a church building in the Heerlerbaan district in the Dutch city of Heerlen. The church is located on the Dr. Clemens Meulemanstraat 1 On the corner with the main road the Heerlerbaan and serves as a parish church of the Roman Catholic parish St. Joseph. The current church was built in 1957 to replace an earlier church building from 1917.
