The Velvet Cave is a tunnel system in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. It was created by marl mining. The historic corridor system is located on the Daalhemerweg and is open for guided tours.
2. Kasteel Oost
Kasteel Oost is a castle-like country house, located on the Oosterweg in a bend of the river Geul east of the town of Valkenburg in Dutch Limburg. The castle, which is surrounded by a formal garden and a landscape garden, is a national monument and is also part of the Geul & Maas estate.
3. Kasteel Valkenburg
Valkenburg Castle is a ruined castle in Valkenburg aan de Geul, Netherlands. It is unique in the Netherlands in that it is the only castle in the country built on a hill. The castle is listed in the top hundred of Dutch cultural monuments.
4. H.H. Nicolaas en Barbarakerk
The Church of St. Nicholas and Barbara, or Old Church, is a Roman Catholic parish church in the center of the Dutch Limburg town of Valkenburg. The partly Romanesque, partly Gothic and partly neo-Gothic building is a national monument. To the north of the church, on the other side of the street, flows the river Geul.
5. Romeinse Katakomben
The Roman Catacombs are an underground tunnel system in Valkenburg in Dutch South Limburg. It is an extremely careful replica of parts of the catacombs in Rome. At the beginning of the 20th century, under the direction of architect Pierre Cuypers, parts of the most important catacombs in Rome were carved with great precision into the limestone of Valkenburg in the Heidegroeve. The entrance to the Roman Catacombs is on the Plenkertstraat near the De Leeuw beer brewery, the flint mines of Valkenburg and the Geological monument Groeve Einde Plenkertweg. Above the quarry is the Polferbos.
6. Van Tienhovenmolen
The Van Tienhovenmolen in the hamlet of Wolfshuis in the Dutch Limburg municipality of Eijsden-Margraten is a belt mill from 1855. It is the only mill in the Netherlands built entirely of marlstone, which is abundantly available in the area. The roof is covered with roofing felt. The mill was in use until 1938 and has been a national monument since 1967. In the mill there is a grinding couple with 16der, 140 cm diameter, artificial stones.
7. Oude of Banmolen
The Oude Molen or Banmolen is a watermill that used the water of a branch of the river Geul and is located in the middle of Valkenburg in the Dutch province of Limburg. Today, the Francis turbine is still running, but it is driven by an electric motor. The water from the mill is transported to the watermill by the Walramweir via the mill branch.

The Sint-Gerlachuskerk is a church building in the Dutch province of Limburg in the town of Houthem-Sint Gerlach in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The parish church, dedicated to Saint Gerlachus of Houthem, was originally the monastery church of a Premonstratensian monastery, a noble monastery of which large parts have been preserved. The baroque church building with fresco paintings, which is unique in the Netherlands, is a national monument and belongs to the 'Top 100 of the National Monument Conservation Agency' from 1990.

Museum Valkenburg, formerly Streekmuseum Land van Valkenburg, is a museum in the center of Valkenburg, in the Dutch province of Limburg. The museum is located in the former town hall and post office of Valkenburg, which is a national monument. The permanent collection includes diverse collections in the fields of geology, Roman and medieval archaeology and local history. In addition, the museum collects Limburg art and organizes changing exhibitions. The organization is entirely in the hands of volunteers.

The Gerlachusputje or Gerlachusbron is a well in the hamlet of Sint Gerlach van Houthem in the Dutch South Limburg municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The well belongs to the estate of Château St. Gerlach. The well is located in the middle of a square lawn surrounded by a hedge. It is located on the edge of the Ingendael nature reserve.

The Roman villa Groot-Haasdal-Billich, also known as Op den Billich, is a site with one or two Roman villas in the municipality of Beekdaelen in the Dutch province of Limburg. The villa was of the villa rustica type and is one of the dozens of Roman villa complexes that have been (partially) excavated on the loess grounds in South Limburg.

The Loisel Burial Vault or Loisel Quarry is a burial vault and marl quarry in the Dutch province of Limburg. The underground quarry is located on the west side of Valkenburg on the Plenkertstraat in Plenkert on the northern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geul valley. On site, the plateau plunges steeply down for a few meters.

The Goudsberg guard post was a late Roman guard post or watchtower on the Goudsberg hill in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in the south of the Dutch province of Limburg. The guard post was probably built to prevent Frankish raids.

The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a church building in Valkenburg in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in the Dutch province of Limburg. The church is located on the north side of the Walramplein on the Sint Pieterstraat, just after the Geul has split into two branches at the Walramweir. About 200 meters to the west is the H.H. Nicholas and Barbara Church.

The Lady Chapel is a niche chapel on the west side of Sint Gerlach in the village of Houthem in the Dutch South Limburg municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The chapel is located on the street Sint Gerlach, more or less in the front garden of number 34, with the castle grounds of Château St. Gerlach on the other side of the street. About 200 meters to the southeast is the Gerlachusputje.
