1. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is the largest mosque ordered by Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman. The mosque is located in the Governorate of Muscat. It was ordered to be built in 1992. It was designed by architect Mohammed Saleh Makiya in partnership with Quad Design and based in London and Muscat. Its construction lasted 6 years until it was completed.

2. Bait al-Baranda Museum

Bait Al Baranda or Bait Al Naseeb or Bait Muhammad Naseeb is a government museum in Muttrah, Muscat, which is displayed through interactive exhibits and exhibitions, from its geological formation to ancient and marine life and folk art to the achievements of Muscat at the present time, and interactive technology has been used to provide information with detailed content about the history of the region, as well as documentaries, historical documents, manuscripts and maps about the Sultanate of Oman, such as the peoples who inhabited Muscat in the past, the tools they used, the battles and wars that broke out in Muscat and the customs and ancient traditions, and many others. It is worth noting that the museum is attributed to the house of the Omani merchant «Muhammad bin Naseeb bin Dawood the main nicknamed Khan Bahadur» built in the old as a second residence for him and after the government bought it from the heirs of «Mohammed bin Naseeb bin Dawood the main» the government turned it into a museum.

3. Sultan's Armed Forces Museum

The Sultan's Armed Forces Museum is a military history museum, located in the 150-year-old Bait Al Falaj Fort, once the headquarters for Sultan Said bin Sultan's Armed Forces, located on Al Mujamma Street, in the Ruwi area near Muscat, Oman. It was graciously inaugurated in 1988 by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, who was supreme commander of the Armed Forces until his death in 2020.

4. Al Qurm Natural Park

Qurum Natural Park or Qurum Natural Park is the largest park in Muscat with an area of about 1,715.5 square meters and is located in a privileged location on the road leading to the heights of Qurum, an area characterized by high plateaus and depressions that drop to a level slightly higher than the sea level extending along the area, and the idea was based on the exploitation of the nature of the site to create pleasant and comfortable views for the wanderer and this park succeeded in achieving the equation of the distinguished location and the appropriate aesthetic and artistic design. Many festivals, plays and celebrations are implemented in the park, the most important of which are the Muscat Festival and the Fun Land amusement park.

5. Shiva temple

Motishwar Mandir is a Shiva temple complex located near the Al Alam Palace in the Muttrah area of Old Muscat, Oman. It is one of the oldest Hindu temples in the Middle East region. The temple celebrates numerous Hindu festivals such as Vasant Panchmi, Ramnavmi, Hanuman Jayanti, Shravan and Ganesh Chaturthi. Over 20,000 Hindus visit the temple during Maha Shivaratri.
