Roque González de Santa Cruz, SJ was a Guaraní-Spanish Jesuit priest who was the first missionary among the Guarani in Paraguay. He was murdered in 1628 and is venerated as a martyr and a saint by the Catholic Church.
2. Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes
The National Museum of Fine Arts of Asunción, located on Mcal. Estigarribia and Iturbe St. in Asuncion, the capital city of Paraguay, displays over 650 works of art, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, prints, photographs, Paraguayan and international artists. As well as antique coins, furniture and various objects that belonged to its creator.
3. Palacio de López
Palacio de los López, officially titled Palacio de Gobierno is a neoclassical manor in Asunción, Paraguay, that serves as a workplace for the President of Paraguay, and is also the seat of the government of Paraguay. The president does not reside in the palace, and is instead housed at Mburuvicha Róga, some 2.5 km to the southeast.
4. Panteón de los Héroes
The National Pantheon of the Heroes, whose full name National Pantheon of Heroes and Oratory of the Virgin of the Asuncion is a building and landmark of Asunción, Paraguay, and a national monument of Paraguay. It is located between the Palma and Chile streets in the downtown of the capital of Paraguay, and it is considered of great architectural, artistic and cultural heritage.
5. Museo de las Memorias
The Museum of Memories is a space for reflection and memory, where paintings, graphs and historical objects related to the human rights violations that occurred during the dictatorship of Alfredo Stroessner are exhibited, which subjected Paraguay to a harsh and prolonged military and repressive regime between August 1954 and February 1989.

6. Pecarí de Collar
The collared peccary is a species of artiodactyl (even-toed) mammal in the family Tayassuidae found in North, Central, and South America. It is the only member of the genus Dicotyles. They are commonly referred to as javelina, saíno, taitetu, or báquiro, although these terms are also used to describe other species in the family. The species is also known as the musk hog. In Trinidad, it is colloquially known as quenk.
