The Church of the Ducklings in Turda, dedicated to the "Assumption of the Virgin Mary", is a church built through the effort of the Greek-Catholic archpriest Basiliu Rațiu in 1839. The works were financed by the Ratiu family, one of the prominent Romanian families in Turda. The name of the church evokes the family of the founders of Rațiu. At present, the place of worship is still not returned to the United Romanian Church, being owned, since 1948, by an Orthodox parish.

Salina Turda is a salt mine in the Durgău-Valea Sărată area of Turda, the second largest city in Cluj County, northwest Transylvania. Opened for tourists in 1992, the Salina Turda mine was visited by about 618,000 Romanian and foreign tourists in 2017.

The Reformed Church of Turda-Veche is the oldest place of worship in Turda, founded before 1331. Initially it was the church of an Augustinian monastery, next to which a school functioned. The founder of the settlement, dedicated to Saint Mary, was King Charles Robert of Anjou. The place is located in the center of the city, in the vicinity of the Princely Palace of Turda.
