The church of Santiago Apóstol in Ciudad Real (Spain) is a religious building of the late Romanesque and early Gothic from the late thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries. It has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest since 1982 (RI-51-0004594-00000). Although it is considered a Gothic church with three naves and pointed arches, both its size and hermetic exterior appearance as well as the corbels of the eaves and the Mudejar coffered ceiling, demonstrate its Romanesque tradition and Islamic reminiscences.

The López Villaseñor Museum is a museum located in the capital of the homonymous province of Ciudad Real. It is located in the old house-palace of Hernán Pérez del Pulgar and is dedicated to the artist Manuel López Villaseñor. The museum, inaugurated in 1990 after the complete renovation of the building undertaken, is managed directly by the City Council of Ciudad Real. In the Museum you can visit the largest collection of works by the painter, although other museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art of Madrid, the Vatican Museum or the Museum of Granada are distributed in twelve rooms. In addition to the temporary exhibition, you can also visit other temporary exhibitions and local events held there.

The Cathedral Basilica of Santa María del Prado (Holy Priory Church of the Military Orders Basilica Cathedral of Our Lady Santa María del Prado) of Ciudad Real, begun in the fifteenth century, is in the Gothic style, although it has earlier elements of late Romanesque style belonging to the predecessor of the cathedral: the parish church of the time of Alfonso X the Wise. The cathedral was built on top of it, which was completed in the mid-sixteenth century after the construction of the vault roofs. However, we also find later elements, in Renaissance and Baroque style. The last thing to be built was the current tower, at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
