St. Martin's Church in Chur is the largest late Gothic complex in Graubünden and the largest Protestant Reformed church building in the canton. With its late Gothic spire, it is the landmark of the old town. It is dedicated to Martin of Tours. The relatively frequent occurrence of St. Martin's churches in Graubünden is related to the fact that Raetia came into the sphere of influence of the Merovingians and Carolingians after 526.

The Malteserturm is a four-storey building in the capital of the canton of Graubünden, Chur. The building in the southwest of the old town, near the Obertor, is part of the oldest city fortifications, which were damaged in the city fire of 1464 and rebuilt in the first half of the 16th century. The late medieval tower shows in the lower area the Bollensteinwerk typical of the city fortifications of the 13th century, in the upper part the quarry stone masonry built after 1464 and is covered with a tent roof. Since its reconstruction in the 16th century, the structure of the building has been preserved intact.
