The Roman Catholic parish church under the patronage of St. John the Baptist – incorporated into Melk Abbey – belongs to the deanery of Baden in the Archdiocese of Vienna. Sight 2: Schloss Gainfarn
Gainfarn Castle is a castle in the Bad Vöslau cadastral municipality of Gainfarn and today houses the music school of Bad Vöslau. The castle is a listed building (list entry). Since the Gainfarn and Großau estates belonged together for a long time, Gainfarn Castle has a very similar history of development and ownership to Merkenstein Castle in the neighbouring village of Großau.

The Hansybach Natural Monument, also known as Hörmbach or Hirmbach, is a small stream reserve in Bad Vöslau in Lower Austria, where three species of water snails are to be protected. This natural monument is one of 13 in the municipality. It is located on municipality-owned land and has been generously renovated by the municipality. In 1979, the natural monument was supplemented by an information pavilion.
