Linz Castle is located on a hill above the old town district of Linz, directly on the Danube.
Sight 2: Trinity Column
The Trinity Column, an 18th-century plague column, is located in the middle of Linz's main square, which is one of the most beautiful hall squares in Austria.
Sight 3: Linz Parish Church
The Roman Catholic parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary of the city of Linz in Upper Austria was staked out during the foundation survey of the city expansion in 1207 and built as a single-nave Romanesque church building with nave and choir. Later, a new, larger Gothic choir was built and the tower was added. Today's parish church was expanded into a three-nave in the Baroque period and the choir was enlarged again.

The Old Cathedral, also called the Church of Ignatius or the Jesuit Church, is a church in Linz, Austria. It was built between 1669 and 1683 in Baroque style. From 1785 to 1909 it served as cathedral of the Diocese of Linz.
Sight 5: Church of the Minor Friars
The Linz Minorite Church, also known as the Landhauskirche, is a Roman Catholic church in the city center of Linz. The Rococo church with the patronage of the Annunciation is owned by the Upper Austrian provincial government, is a branch church of the city parish of Linz and is used by the Priestly Brotherhood of St. Peter, in whose hands the church rectorate is also located. The church building is a listed building (list entry).

The Stadtmuseum Nordico is a museum in Linz, Upper Austria. It is located in the town hall district at Simon-Wiesenthal-Platz 1.
Sight 8: Synagoge der Israelitischen Kultusgemeinde Linz
The Linz Synagogue is a Jewish house of prayer located at Bethlehemstraße 26 in the town hall district of Linz. It is under the authority of the Jewish Community of Linz and was inaugurated on April 2, 1968.
Sight 9: Elisabethinenkirche
The Roman Catholic Elisabethinenkirche is a baroque domed church in Linz (Upper Austria), whose architecture and interior decoration already show classicist influences. It is dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi. The church is located in the south-western corner of the monastery of the Elisabethinen.

The Donaulände, popularly known as Donaupark or Lände, is a public park in Linz, located in the city center between the Nibelungen Bridge and the VOEST Bridge on the southern bank of the Danube. The Donaulände serves as a recreation park and also as a venue for cultural events, such as the Linz Klangwolke and the Linzfest. In addition, the Donaulände is a popular meeting place for Linz's youth culture in summer.
