The Municipal Museum of Fine Arts in Ixelles presents a vast panorama of Belgian art of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Its collections bring together paintings, sculptures, drawings representing the different artistic currents of this period: realism, impressionism, luminism, neo-impressionism and symbolism for the nineteenth century and, closer to us, fauvism, expressionism, cubism, surrealism, constructed and lyrical abstraction as well as the main current trends. A sample of Flemish teachers and a few representatives of foreign schools complete this collection. A collection of posters as well, including the most exhaustive set of Toulouse-Lautrec posters in the world.

The Church of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic church located on the Place Sainte-Croix in Ixelles, Brussels. Built in the middle of the nineteenth century near the ponds and the Place Flagey, the church is in Art Deco style for the exterior and neo-Gothic style for the interior but in Art Deco style for several parts of the furniture including the confessionals and the side altars of the ambulatory.

The Hôtel Solvay is a large historic town house in Brussels, Belgium. It was designed by Victor Horta for Armand Solvay, the son of the chemist and industrialist Ernest Solvay, and built between 1895 and 1900, in Art Nouveau style. It is located at 224, avenue Louise/Louizalaan, not far from the Hôtel Max Hallet, another remarkable Art Nouveau building by Horta.

It is considered one of the first buildings in that style because of its highly innovative plan and its ground-breaking use of materials and decoration. It is located at 6, rue Paul-Emile Janson/Paul-Emile Jansonstraat, a few steps from the Avenue Louise/Louizalaan.

The Hôtel Hannon is a historic town house in Brussels, Belgium. Constructed between 1903 and 1904, in Art Nouveau style, for the industrialist Édouard Hannon, it is the only house in that style designed by the architect Jules Brunfaut.
