Individual Sights in AjaccioSight 1: Statue de Fred Scamaroni
Godefroy Scamaroni (24 October 1914 – 19 March 1943) was a French civil servant, member of Free France since 1940, hero and martyr of the Resistance. Arrested by the Italian political police (OVRA) in Ajaccio while he was running the Action R2 Corse network, he committed suicide in his cell in the citadel of Ajaccio to reveal nothing.
Sight 2: Cathédrale Santa-Maria-Assunta
Ajaccio Cathedral, officially the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption of Ajaccio and also known as the Cathedral of the Assumption of Saint Mary, is a Roman Catholic church located in Ajaccio, Corsica. The cathedral is the ecclesiastical seat of the Bishop of Ajaccio, a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Marseille. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and is in the Baroque/Mannerist architectural style.

Maison Bonaparte is the ancestral home of the Bonaparte family. It is located on the Rue Saint-Charles in Ajaccio on the French island of Corsica. The house was almost continuously owned by members of the family from 1682 to 1923.
Sight 5: Palais Fesch
The musée Fesch is the central museum of fine arts in Ajaccio on Corsica. Located within the gated Palais Fesch, it is in the town's Borgu d'Ajaccio quarter. It was established by Napoleon I's uncle, cardinal Joseph Fesch, in Fesch's birthplace.
