The Monument to Edgar Quinet is a sculpture made by Marcel Mayer, inaugurated in the Square des Quinconces in Bourg-en-Bresse in November 1970. It is dedicated to Edgar Quinet, a native of Bourg-en-Bresse, and includes a bust of the character. It follows a first Monument to Edgar Quinet, a work by Aimé Millet inaugurated in the Square des Quinconces in 1883, and destroyed in 1942 by the Vichy regime, as part of the mobilization of non-ferrous metals.
