The birthplace of Saint-John-Perse was a residential building located at 54, rue Achille-René-Boisneuf – formerly rue d'Arbaud – in Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe. Built around 1850-1860, it was the birthplace and childhood of the French writer and poet Alexis Leger, known as Saint-John Perse.
Sight 3: Ancien entrepôt Darboussier
The former Darboussier warehouse is a goods warehouse located on Quai Lefebvre in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. Built around 1870 for the Darboussier sugar factory, it was listed as a historical monument in 2008.

The Saint-John-Perse Museum is a municipal museum located in the historic district of Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. It houses a permanent exhibition on Creole costumes and on the poet and diplomat Saint-John Perse, Nobel Prize for Literature in 1960.

The former presbytery Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul is a building built in the 19th century, located between Place de la Victoire and Place de l'Eglise Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul, in the city center de Pointe-à-Pitre, sub-prefecture of Guadeloupe.

Sight 9: Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul
The Church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul in Pointe-à-Pitre is a Roman Catholic church located in Place Gourbeyre in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. Although it has never been consecrated, the church is locally called a "cathedral". In 1978, the building was classified as a historical monument and in 2021 benefited from the annual edition of the Heritage Lottery as a priority site.

Sight 11: Hôtel de Ville de Pointe à Pitre
The Pointe-à-Pitre City Hall is the current town hall located on the Place des Martyrs-de-la-Liberté in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. Built in 1973 to replace the old town hall, which had become unsuitable for the administrative needs of the rapidly expanding municipality, it was listed as a historical monument in 2011.
