Sight 1: St. Johannes der Täufer
St. John's Church is the Roman Catholic parish church of Kitzingen, dedicated to John the Baptist. It is located in the old town, southeast of the market square and belongs to the deanery of Kitzingen in the diocese of Würzburg. St. Johannes forms the centre of the parish community of St. Hedwig in the Kitzinger Land and represents one of the most remarkable late Gothic church buildings in northern Bavaria. The church is also the oldest surviving building in the city and, together with the Evangelical town church of the same name, shapes the cityscape.
Sight 2: Evangelische Stadtkirche
The Protestant town church of Kitzingen is a church building in the old town of Kitzingen. With its high tower and monumental baroque façade, it characterises the cityscape. It is dedicated to John the Baptist, but in contrast to the Catholic St. John's Church, it is usually just called the city church. The church is the largest Protestant church in Lower Franconia.

The Ludwigsbrunnen is a listed fountain in the large district town of Kitzingen. It is located on Kaiserstraße on a square in front of the Evangelical City Church.
