Individual Sights in Limburg an der LahnSight 1: Hochbunker Limburg
The high-rise bunker ("Winkelturm") on the grounds of the WERKStadt shopping centre in Limburg is an air-raid shelter of the Winkel type, named after the designer Leo Winkel. It was built in 1941 during the Second World War to protect the employees of the Reichsbahn repair shop in Limburg from Allied air raids. To improve vibration protection, the bunker was built on a bed of iron filings.

Sight 3: Hoher Dom zu Limburg
Limburg Cathedral (German: Limburger Dom, also known as Georgsdom after its dedication to Saint George, is located above the old town of Limburg in Hesse, Germany. It is the cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Limburg. Its high location on a rock above the river Lahn provides its visibility from far away. It is the result of an Early Gothic modernization of an originally Early Romanesque building and therefore shows a Romanesque-Gothic transitional style.
Sight 4: ehemaliger Friedhof
The former cathedral cemetery and cemetery of the city of Limburg an der Lahn is located in the immediate vicinity of the Limburg Cathedral on the cathedral square. The cemetery, which served as the final resting place of both the members of the monastery and the town's population, was expanded several times in the 19th century before it was replaced in 1882 by a new main cemetery on the Schafsberg. Since 1965, the cemetery, which is listed for historical and cultural reasons, has been accessible as a park. On the site is the former charnel chapel of St. Michael, which is also a listed building.

Sight 7: St. Hildegard / Jugendkirche Cross Over
St. Hildegard is a Catholic church in Limburg an der Lahn, built between 1965 and 1967 according to plans by Walter Neuhäusser. The striking shell roof is based on the international architectural trend of the "flying roofs" that emerged in the early 1960s. Today it belongs to the pastoral area of Limburg.
