The Gallipoli Cathedral, formally the Co-Cathedral Basilica of Saint Agatha the Virgin, is a Roman Catholic church located in the town of Gallipoli in Apulia, Italy. Completed in 1696, the Baroque church is a minor basilica and the co-cathedral of the Diocese of Nardò-Gallipoli.

The church of St. Francis of Assisi is a baroque building in the historic center of Gallipoli. The ancient core of the church dates back to the thirteenth century, but subsequent alterations, between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, have radically transformed the structure by hiding the original medieval lines.

The church of Santa Maria degli Angeli is a confraternity in the historic center of Gallipoli. Built in the second half of the seventeenth century, it stands along the perimeter of the walls, in front of the Island of Sant'Andrea. The church was entrusted in 1662 to the confraternity of the same name, made up of fishermen, farmers and artists, which organizes and is the owner, together with the confraternity of the Crucifix, the procession of the Mysteries of Good Friday participating with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows.

Sight 4: Chiesa del Santissimo Crocifisso

The Church of the Holy Crucifix, seat of the confraternity of the same name, is a church in the historic center of Gallipoli. It was erected in 1750 on land owned by the Dominican Fathers purchased by the confraternity in 1741. The construction of the structure, whose design is due to Carlo Multò, captain of artillery serving at the royal castle of Gallipoli, was carried out by the master of Copertino Ortensio Preite.

Sight 5: Chiesa di San Domenico al Rosario

The church of San Domenico al Rosario, annexed to the former Dominican convent, is a Catholic place of worship in Gallipoli built in 1696. Built to a design by the master Valerio Margoleo di Martano, it stands on the remains of a pre-existing sacred building of which some architectural elements remain. It is home to the historic Confraternity of the Rosary.
