The Fallenberg quarry is a former marl quarry in the Dutch province of Limburg in the municipality of Maastricht. The quarry is located in the western valley wall of the Jeker valley and on the eastern slope of the Cannerberg. The quarry is located on the northern edge of the Cannerbos on the Zeenendaalweg.
Sight 2: Jezuïetenberg
The Jezuïetenberg is a former marl quarry in the Cannerberg in the municipality of Maastricht. In the period 1880-1967, the Jesuits used the quarry for relaxation, creating many works of art in the form of drawings, sculptures and water works. This quarry has had the status of a national monument since 1998.
Sight 3: Boschberg, hoofdingang (NATO-berg)
NATO Headquarters Cannerberg / Joint Operations Centre (JOC), located behind the Château Neercanne south of Maastricht, on the border with Belgium, was, during the Cold War, a communications center and headquarters of NATO. It housed the war headquarters of Northern Army Group and Second Allied Tactical Air Force.
Sight 4: Motte De Tombe
The Tomb is an early medieval motte on the Sint-Pietersberg in the south of the Dutch municipality of Maastricht. The remnant of the motte is located along the Van Schaikweg on the west flank of the Sint-Pietersberg on the edge of the ENCI forest. To the west of the motte is the Quarry de Tombe and to the south of the motte is the ENCI forest.
Sight 5: Huis De Torentjes
Huis De Torentjes is a partly 16th-century castle-like country house on the eastern flank of the Sint-Pietersberg in the former village of Sint Pieter, now part of the Dutch city of Maastricht.
Sight 6: Kerk van de Allerheiligste Verlosser en H. Petrus
The church of Sint-Pieter Boven, officially church of the Most Holy Savior and H. Petrus, also known as Sint Pieter on the Berg, was a Roman Catholic Church built in 1875 in Neo-Gothic style, located in the Maastricht Sint Pieter district. The church is used by the Sint-Pieter parish, just like the Church Sint-Pieter Down. The Sint-Pieter church upstairs is a national monument.
