Gdynia Aquarium is a public aquarium and sea museum operated by the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute in Gdynia, Poland. Previously called the Oceanographic Museum and Sea Aquarium of the Sea Fisheries Institute in Gdynia (1971-2003), the aquarium has a zoological garden status and is situated along Aleja John Paul II on the South Pier.

The Joseph Conrad Monument – a monument depicting the figure of Joseph Conrad, an outstanding English writer of Polish origin, who went down in world literature as an unparalleled mariner, is located at the end of John Paul II Avenue in the Śródmieście district of Gdynia. The unveiling of the monument took place on 19 June 1976 during the celebrations of the Maritime Day and the 50th anniversary of Gdynia.

The Dar Pomorza is a Polish full-rigged sailing ship built in 1909 which is preserved in Gdynia as a museum ship. She has served as a sail training ship in Germany, France, and Poland. Dar Pomorza won the Cutty Sark Trophy in 1980.

Sight 4: ORP Błyskawica

ORP Błyskawica is a Grom-class destroyer which served in the Polish Navy during World War II. She is the only Polish Navy ship to have been decorated with the Virtuti Militari, Poland's highest military order for gallantry, and in 2012 was given the Pro Memoria Medal. Błyskawica is preserved as a museum ship in Gdynia and is the oldest preserved destroyer in the world. Błyskawica is moored next to the Dar Pomorza.

Sight 5: ORP Sokół

ORP Sokół, formerly HNoMS Stord, is one of four Kobben-class submarines of the Polish Navy. The vessel was built by Rheinstahl Nordseewerke GmbH in Emden, Germany for the Royal Norwegian Navy as HNoMS Stord. The vessel served with the Royal Norwegian Navy from 1967 until it was given to Poland in 2002. Sokół was modified in Gdańsk after the handover. The ship was decommissioned on 8 June 2018. In the same year, she joined the program about converting a ship into a museum ship. In July 2020, work began on the unit in order to prepare it for museum functions.
