Museum of Applied Arts in Poznań is a branch of the National Museum in Poznań, art museum opened in 1965 as the Museum of Arts and Crafts. Since 1991, in connection with the expansion of the collection profile and the change of the exhibition, under the current name. It is located in the Royal Castle in Poznań, built in 1249, initially as a residential tower of the PoznańPrince Przemysl I.

Sight 3: Fontanna Marsa
Mars Fountain – one of the four fountains in the Old Market Square in Poznań, stands on the north-western side of the Poznań Market Square. It was unveiled in 2005. The author of the sculpture is Rafał Nowak. Already in the 17th century, one of the four fountains standing on the Market Square stood in this place, where it supplied the inhabitants of Poznań with water until the end of the 19th century.

The fountain was created by Marian Konieczny. Already in the 17th century, one of the four fountains standing on the Market Square stood in this place, where it supplied the inhabitants of Poznań with water until the end of the 19th century.

The Mielżyński Palace in Poznań – a classicist building, the first to fully implement the assumptions of this style in Poznań. It occupies property number 91 at the Old Market Square. In the modest façade, attention is drawn to simple pilasters, a protruding cornice and a high attic topped with a coat of arms, which is supported by two lions.
