Individual Sights in MariborSight 1: Mestni park
Maribor Park is a park located north of the old town of Maribor. Today, the entire park covers an area of about 54 ha. It is located north of the city center itself. From the very "foundation" it has been a popular place for rest or recreation. It gathers parents with their children, pensioners, youth, and at the same time it is a place of recreation for students of nearby high schools. The park also has a children's playground, an aquarium-terrarium and a pavilion where morning concerts are held in spring and summer.
Sight 2: Muzej narodne osvoboditve Maribor
The Museum of National Liberation Maribor is a museum that was founded as an independent museum institution on 1 May 1958 by the then District People's Committee of Maribor. The museum has its premises in a burgher villa on the corner of Mladinska Street and Hero Tomšič Street in Maribor. The purpose and role of the Regional Museum is primarily to bring together archaeology, ethnology and the wider cultural history of the Maribor region and its surroundings in one place. Thus, the collection of exhibited objects includes weapons, postcards, numismatic collections, photographs, furniture, fine arts, clocks, musical instruments, lamps, etc.
Sight 3: Tscheligi tower
The Čeligi's Tower is a defensive tower in Maribor, one of the five towers of the northern city wall, built by the townspeople in 1460. The square-shaped tower was an important defensive point on the walls. It was named after the Maribor brewers Tscheligi, and in the past it was also called the Smodnik Tower.

The Slovenian National Theatre Maribor is the Slovenian national professional theatre institution. It has departments of Drama, Opera and Ballet, and Symphony Orchestra.
Sight 5: Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
Maribor Cathedral, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the city of Maribor, northeastern Slovenia. The church is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor and the parish church of the Parish of Maribor–St. John the Baptist. It is also the resting place of Bishop Anton Martin Slomšek, an advocate of Slovene culture.

Maribor Synagogue is a former Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, located in what was the center of the medieval Maribor ghetto Židovska ulica, in the city of Maribor, Slovenia. The former congregation was established in the 14th century and worshiped in the Ashkenazi rite.
Sight 7: Water tower
The Maribor Water Tower is a medieval fortified tower in the city of Maribor, Slovenia. The late-Renaissance tower stands directly abuts the Drava River and dates from 1555. It is of pentagonal form and consists of massive stone blocks interspersed with embrasures. It was built to secure the southeast part of the Maribor city walls from the direction of the river.

Sight 9: Old Vine
The Old Vine is a 440-year-old vine that grows in the central part of the city of Maribor on Lent, exactly in Vojašniška Street 8 in Pristano. It grows along the south side of the façade of this one-story house. In 2004, it was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest among all vines in the world. The Vojašniška 8 House and the Old Vine are protected as a cultural monument of local importance.
Sight 10: Judgement Tower
The Judgement Tower is a fortified medieval tower in the city of Maribor, Slovenia. An original tower built on the site in the early 14th century secured the southwestern corner of the city walls. It was completely rebuilt in 1540, with the addition of a conical roof which burned down in the 17th century.
