The Rieres d'Horta Park is located in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona. It was opened in 2013 after four years of work, with a cost of 44.7 million euros. This park was conceived with criteria of self -sufficiency and sustainability, one of the basic premises in the creation of green areas in the city of Barcelona today, such as the parks of Can Rigal, the spring and the Maduixer stream. The creation of the park was a second phase of the construction of the stormwater deposit, between 2009 and 2011, in order to contain the waters and avoid the floods that caused the storms. The park was devised as a covering of this large tank.

The parish of Sant Jeroni de Montbau is the ecclesiastical district that encompasses the neighborhood of Montbau, in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona. Created in 1963, as a segregation of part of the parishes of Sant Genís dels Agudells and Sant Joan d'Horta, it is named in memory of the historic monastery of Sant Jeroni de la Vall d'Hebron, which had been located very close to the new district of Montbau.
Sight 7: Sant Genís dels Agudells
The church of Sant Genís dels Agudells is a church in the neighbourhood of Sant Genís dels Agudells, in the district of Horta-Guinardó in Barcelona. It is one of the ten oldest parishes in Barcelona. It seems to have been founded in 931, but the current building is from 1571. In 1359 it became part of the monastery of Sant Jeroni de la Vall d'Hebron, but with the disappearance of the monastery it was attached to the parish of Sant Joan d'Horta (1867). The cemetery that still exists next to the church is remarkable, the only one that remains within the urban center of the city and is not owned by the municipality. Several illustrious figures are buried there, including Manuel Carrasco i Formiguera, a militant of the Democratic Union of Catalonia, who was shot in Burgos in 1938, until he was transferred to the Montjuïc cemetery in 2001.
