People's hero Mirche Acev-Stojche

Mirče Acev was a Macedonian organizer of the Yugoslav communist resistance in Vardar Macedonia during World War II. He graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in Yugoslavia, after which he became a commander of the Yugoslav Partisans and was declared a People's Hero of Yugoslavia, on 29 July 1945.

4. Holy Annunciation

"St. The Old Church of the Annunciation is located in Prilep. The church was built by the famous Prilep masters Costa Lauco and Riste Taslamice in 1838. The church measures 32 m long, 26 m wide and 9 m high. In the courtyard of the church is the tomb of the Macedonian revolutionary Pere Toshev.

Mound of the Unbeaten is a World War II memorial in the Park of the Revolution, Prilep, North Macedonia. The monument and memorial complex were built in 1961 in honor to the fallen fighters of the People's Liberation Struggle in Macedonia. Author of the memorial complex is Yugoslav architect Bogdan Bogdanović.

10. People's hero Kuzman Josifoski-Pitu Memorial museum

The Kuzman Josifoski-Pitu Memorial Museum is a memorial museum and memorial house in the town of Prilep, dedicated to the Macedonian revolutionary Kuzman Josifoski-Pitu. The memorial museum is located at 20 Mara Josifoska Street. The house was the birthplace of the above-mentioned Kuzman and the first combatants bearing the "Partisan Monument 1941", his brother Asparuh and his sisters Mara and Stefanka. It was declared a cultural monument in 1971.

11. St. Peter and Paul

Saints Peter and Paul is a church in the village of Varoš, not far from Prilep. It is believed to have been built around the 14th century. It is a single-nave building with a semi-shaped vault. A part of the old church that was demolished has been rebuilt. The present appearance and location of the temple is of a functional character, as it is located in the eastern part of the settlement of Varoš, i.e. on the road leading to the other churches. Inside, the vividness is partially preserved in several compositions. The church is a registered cultural monument.

12. Lazo Kolevski-Lavski

Lazo Filipov Kolevski – Lavski – Macedonian communist, participant in the NOV. Together with Boro Petruševski, Kolevski was the first to kill an enemy soldier on 8 September 1941 after the occupation of Macedonia in World War II. He was awarded the title National Hero of Yugoslavia on 11 October 1953.

The 11 October 1941 Memorial Museum is a museum in Prilep, North Macedonia, which commemorates the Day of the Macedonian Uprising. It is housed in the building upon which the Macedonian Partisans, of the Prilep detachment, made their first attack as part of the National Liberation War of Macedonia. The building was in use at this time as a Bulgarian police station.

14. The Elephant

Elephant - a bronze settlement. At the foot of Markovi Kuli, on the southeast side, and in the immediate vicinity of the natural rock in the form of an elephant. Numerous fragments of ceramics, ceramic pots are visible. In 1965, there were trial excavations of smaller scale. The material is in the Institute and Museum of Prilep today. In older cultural periods, such as Neolithic, Copper and Bronze Age, this exceptional rock was probably the object of emphasized worship, as an object of divine origin, a home of powerful deities, around which a variety of processes and rituals to win the mercy of the mercy Supernatural creatures that ruled the natural forces and the spirit world. Part of the large number of carved rectangular and trapezoidal objects, probably represented vessels (recipients), which served for long-term cultural and religious activities. This, in particular, applies to the three such vessels on the north side of the building, which were made in its immediate vicinity, leading to a rocky path, which departs from the very foot of the hill of the "elephant". Archaeologists have evolved around this rock, but the presence of a variety of archaeological materials, including those originating in the older periods, can be concluded that the rock is very old cult.

People's hero Kuzman Josifoski-Pitu

Kuzman Josifoski-Pitu was a Macedonian communist, one of the main organizers of the anti-fascist movement and the NOB in Macedonia. He was awarded the title National Hero of Yugoslavia on 2 August 1945, as one of the first fighters from Macedonia to receive the award. Because of his tireless national liberation work, many people call him Gotse Delchev of the NOB [source needed].
