Sight 2: Memorial Minas Gerais Vale
The Minas Gerais Vale Memorial Museum is an artistic and cultural museum dedicated to the traditions of the people of Minas Gerais located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The old building of the Secretariat of Finance was restored and adapted to show the public the history of Minas Gerais. Sponsored by Vale, which invested R$ 27 million, the memorial has a restoration project by Flávio Grillo. It was inaugurated on November 30, 2010 and is part of the Praça da Liberdade Cultural Circuit.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes, also known as the Basilica of Belo Horizonte, is a Catholic church built in a predominantly neo-Gothic style, which is located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Its construction was completed around 1923. The author of the project was Manoel Tunes, and the works were made by Antonio Gonçalves Gravatá. In 1958 he was elevated to Basilica by decision of Pope Pius XII.

The Minas Gerais Public Archive is a unit of the Minas Gerais State Department of Culture and Tourism. It was created by Mining Law No. 126, of July 11, 1895, during the administration of the President of the State Chrispim Jacques Bias Fortes, who sanctioned it with the referendum of the Secretary of Interior Affairs Henrique Augusto de Oliveira Diniz, to whose secretariat the agency was linked. Its collection served as the basis for the subsequent creation of the Mining Museum. He is currently part of the Circuito Liberdade.
