The Manufactory of Dreams is an adventure museum in Annaberg-Buchholz. It houses the Marie Ströher Memorial Collection on 1100 square meters. The museum and the exhibition were opened to the public on October 29, 2010. The collection includes folk art from a period between the 18th century and the present day. Most of the exhibits date from the period between 1890 and 1930. The collection is considered the most extensive and important private collection of Erzgebirge folk art in the German-speaking world.

The Ore Mountain Museum is a museum in Annaberg-Buchholz in the German state of Saxony and located in the Ore Mountains of Central Europe. Its display includes examples of Ore Mountain folk art, especially carvings, bobbin work and passements) and gives an insight into the history of the town of Annaberg and of silver mining in the region. The museum also owns a work from the workshop of Lucas Cranach the Younger from 1572 and a large collection of valuable pewter vessels. Adjoining the museum is the visitor mine of Im Gößner.

St. Anne's Church in Annaberg-Buchholz, German Free State of Saxony, is a hall church whose architectural style is on the boundary between the Late Gothic and Saxon Renaissance. With a length of 65 metres (213 ft) and width of 40 metres (130 ft), it is the largest, true hall church of the Late Gothic in Saxony. Its tower is 78 metres (256 ft) high, the interior of the church 28 metres (92 ft) high. It is the emblem of the town and visible from a long way off. Saint Anne's was originally built in 1499 as a Roman Catholic church, but became Lutheran in 1539.

The listed Electoral Saxon distance column Annaberg is one of the postal milestones that were erected in the Electorate of Saxony in the first half of the 18th century by the Land and Border Commissioner Adam Friedrich Zürner on behalf of the Elector of Saxony Friedrich August I. It is located in a green area on Köselitzplatz near the former Bohemian Gate in the Erzgebirge district town of Annaberg-Buchholz in the Erzgebirgskreis.

The Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theater is a theatre in Annaberg-Buchholz in the Ore Mountains and operates under the umbrella of the Erzgebirgische Theater und Orchester GmbH (ETO), to which the Erzgebirgische Philharmonie also belongs as the orchestra of the house.
