Djäkneberget is a park area just west of Västerås city centre. The area is about 500 meters long and 250 meters wide. The park is located on a hill with views of the Cathedral, the City Hall, Skrapan and part of Lake Mälaren. Adjacent to the park is Djäknebergsskolan, an elementary school that was inaugurated in 1894 and which today houses Västerås Folk High School and Västerås Art School.
